Shot-On-Location¬ close-focused backdrops are a unique new way to create realistic photographs that appear to be "shot on location". The photographs in this collection will appear out of focus because they are focused on where your subject would be placed. This allows you to make a more realistic photo composite than if you had blurred a sharp focused photo. When composited with your studio photography, the soft focus effect gives realistic depth of field to your images.
The Shot-On-Location¬ collections of soft-focused and close-focused modeling backgrounds are ideal for subject placement. These images are especially useful for backdrops in product catalogs, fashion photography projects, magazine advertisements, brochures, multimedia presentations, or video. All photos have been shot with the intended placement of a human figure or similar sized object. Shot-On-Location¬ backgrounds are also effective for adding realism to computer rendered scenes and animations.

View Me (Macintosh) or VIEW-ME.EXE (Windows) is a multimedia demo that allows you to view and place figures into backgrounds. It also gives a brief description on how to use the digital backdrops with blue screen photography, license information, and order information.

The file catalog.pdf is a pdf format of our Shot-On-Location¬ collections catalog. You will need to install the Adobe Arcobat¬ Reader in order to view and print pages from this document. The Arcobat¬ Reader 2.0.1 Folder contains both Macintosh and PC platform installers of Adobe's Acrobat Reader. Please read the Read Me files in the appropriate directory before installing.

The ViewBar Folder (Macintosh only) contains an application (ViewBar) that allows you to view the images without opening each individual image in a paint or photo manipulation application.
The following is a legal agreement between the licensee (you) and Product Development Systems, Inc. Read this agreement carefully before using the software content of the accompanying CD ROM ("The CD"). Keep this License Agreement for future reference and as your proof of license. By opening this package you agree to be bound by the terms of this license agreement. If you do not agree with the terms, immediately return the un-opened CD in the original sealed package for a full refund.
Product Development Systems, Inc. hereby grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive sub-license to use the copyrighted images on the CD for use in printed materials and multimedia productions with the following conditions and restrictions:
YOU MAY:
(A) Use images on this CD only for your own final productions. You or your direct customer must be the end-user of your productions in the form of advertisements, magazine / newspaper articles, promotional brochures and catalogs, newsletters, reports, computer multimedia applications, or video productions. You may not use any image or any portion thereof for any purpose other than those specified in this paragraph.
(B) Copy the contents of this CD to your computer hard drive on an "as needed basis" .The contents of this CD may only be accessed by one computer at a time and with one (single) user at a time.
YOU MAY NOT:
(A) Loan, rent, sell or otherwise transfer the right to use the CD to any other person, organization, or entity; or
(B) Copy, transmit or transfer the images in any digital form for redistribution or resale singularly or as another image library; or
(C) Disassemble, modify, translate, decompile or create derivative programs based on the applications programs embedded in the CD; or
(D) Place (or allow anyone else to place) any original image from the CD on any network, electronic bulletin board, internet web site, or on-line service; or
(E) Use or allow anyone else to use any image from the CD for (or in any association with) pornographic or sexually explicit material or in any manner which is in any way embarrassing to or defamatory of any person or entity.
You agree to indemnify and hold Product Development Systems Inc. harmless against any damages or liability of any kind arising from any use of the CD other than the permitted uses specified in this agreement.
LIMITED WARRANTY ON MEDIA: Product Development Systems, Inc. warrants that it has the right to grant this sub license to you. We warrant that the CD will be free from defects of material and workmanship under normal use for 90 days from the date of delivery as evidenced by a copy of your receipt. After the return of the CD and receipt to us, if the CD is found by us to be defective, we will either replace the CD or refund the purchase price, at our option. This is the sole and exclusive remedy for breach of this limited warranty. If we determine the CD has been misused or modified while in your possession, this warranty will not apply.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY: Product Development Systems, Inc. does not warrant that the CD or its operation will be error free or uninterrupted, or that defects in the CD will be corrected. We make no warranty, express or implied, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability and/or fitness for a particular purpose.
NO OTHER WARRANTY: The above warranties are the only warranties of any kind that are given by Product Development Systems, Inc. on the CD. We expressly disclaim all other express and limited warranties. In no event will Product Development Systems, Inc. be liable for damages, including lost profits or any other damages arising out of the use or inability to use the CD, however caused and on any theory of liability. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, and other rights may vary by state.
U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS: The CD and documentation are provided with Restricted Rights and are subject to restrictions as set forth in the Rights in Technical Data and Computer Product clause at DFARS 252.227-7013 (c) (1) (ii) or (c) (2) of the Commercial Computer Product - Restricted Rights Clause at PAR 52.227.19 NASA supplement to the FAR at 18-52.227-55 (d), as applicable. COMPREHENSIVE: This CD may be exported outside the U.S. only as authorized and permitted under U.S. law. The images and embedded applications on the CD are owned by our licensors and are protected by various U.S. copyright, trade secret, trademark and international treaties. Product Development Systems, Inc. retains all rights not expressly granted. This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between us and supersedes any other communications or advertisement with respect to the CD and documentation.
